Job Description: The RLT provides essential services by working 1:1 with toddlers and children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities in our office, the community, and in homes. Under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) the RLT will use ABA procedures to teach important skills to children with autism in a 1:1 or small group setting. Skill areas focused on during their day may include: communication, imitation, social, play, self-help, and school readiness.

Current Available Hours:

  • Part Time applicants must be available to work Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 3:30, Friday 8:30 – 2:30*
  • *unless a staff meeting or training is scheduled.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment plans and protocols under the direction of a BCBA
  • Work with children in their homes, community, and clinic, helping them learn how to communicate, play and learn.
  • Collect and graph data on client progress and behavior
  • Collaborate with members of the treatment team to ensure that clients receive the highest quality of care
  • Exhibit initiative and ability to work independently when needed and in a team environment
  • Attend supervision and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum 1 year experience working with children
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Compensation:

  • Starting pay is $13/hr (after training period) for applicants without prior ABA experience. — Rate of pay is based upon experience related to the field of ABA
